Love Movement Journal Response by Alice – Day 8

Matthew 18:21-25

The Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? SEven times?”

“No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy time seven!”

“Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date with servants who had borrowed money from him. In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. He couldn’t pay, so his master ordered that he be sold – along with his wife, his children, and everything he owned – to pay the debt.”

Day’s challenge ties in perfectly or the same with yesterday’s. It’s talking about if you need to apologize to someone then pray for an opportunity. Well I had a situation and opportunity today. My dad and I drove into the city this morning pretty early..and I wasn’t the most talkative or cheery morning person on the drive up. I was really tired due to not a lot of sleep lately and I guess I was a little cranky. It was 7:30am…can I get a little lee-way for that? Anyways, I could have been wayyy more cheery and talkative since my dad and I usually have great chats…so I could tell he wasn’t appreciative of the silence and would have rather had a good chat with me. So when we got to the city I decided to plan that we have lunch together…that way we could make up for the morning! So we did! And it was great:) I apologized for my cranky morning mood and we had a wonderful lunch and good chats. I love my dad so much. He provides, protects and loves me. What a fantastic father God has blessed me with!heart in snow2

So make sure you make things right – preferably right away or as soon as you can. You won’t regret it and God will reward your effort! Cherish your friendships and relationships…and especially respect, love and honour your parents.

Lots of love
